Although it might be hard to believe, the “future you” has not yet been determined. There are a number of versions of yourself that could manifest, and these versions can be slightly different from who you are today, or they can be radically different. This realization is incredibly significant and will be your guiding light as you start to imagine the potential versions of yourself that can come to life.

If you feel stuck or are unhappy with your job, health, finances or relationships, it can be challenging to imagine there is any way out.

The opportunity we all face is how to break through or bend this path of least resistance, which is the path you are currently on. Regardless of how unfulfilling this path may be, it is still the path you know and are familiar with. The path of least resistance is one that feels safe and comfortable, and is generally less “bendy.” For your life to change, your path needs to bend. But the good news is that once you bend your path, the “you” that you’ve known will bend too.

What does it mean to be a pathbender?

It means being brave and taking steps – some might be scary – to create your alternative self. These steps may be small, but the ultimate goal is to get to the “you” that you envision. To engage your alternative self, you do something – anything – different than the path you are on. It makes sense that we believe staying in our comfort zone is the right thing to do since it’s easier. It’s easy to accept that tomorrow you’ll be the same person that you are today, and for many people that might be OK. But is there an alternative self you’d rather become? Let’s bend your path and write the ending to your story together – the ending you deserve.
